The wonders of the modern motor car

I am always surprised how far you can drive in a day if you put your mind to it! Yesterday we left Campsegret (near Bergerac in the South of France) at 06:45 and arrived home in Norwich at 20:15

That's 735 miles in 13.5 hours, including crossing the channel - crazy town when you think about it.

Also, the French leg was specifically impressive as we did 515 miles in 8.5 hours (without breaking the speed limit) which is an average speed of 60mph including stops for fuel and food and also going through Paris!

By fuel stop do you mean winding the elastic band (yeah I can't talk).

And through Paris is impressive. Took me 95mins last week to cross inner London, Victoria to Liverpool Street. Clearly they have some things sorted.

Welcome Back!
