Man I ache

The builders are due to arrive tomorrow and so this weekend I have been mainly moving, splitting and stacking logs. Given that this pile was twice the height when I started I now ache like you wouldn't believe!

Hmmmm...

...does anyone actually read blogs anymore?

A part of me thinks that they are a little retro and out of date but that is mainly because of the current interest in facebook.

Another part of me thinks that blogging will outlast facebook et al because they are not commercial. This is great because you can host your blog anywhere you choose, it belongs to you and you are not beholden on any one third party to keep your web presnece alive. Also, most importantly, as blogs are not commercial you don't get adverts :-)

Hmmmm, so shall I carry on blogging? I think I might and we'll see what happens.
