Get those hands in the air!

Thanks to Chris Moyles being on holiday I've been forced to get my ipod back in action for the cycle to and from work.

After a couple of days just listening to what I'd previously loaded I decided to crack out some bangin' dance tunes and as I type this I'm raving away having rediscovered my love of house music!

Every morning when I get on my bike, I think I'm Alberto Contador (the current leader of the Tour de France)

Le Tour de Emotional Rollercoaster

Life can be so frustrating sometimes. I have been swooning over the amazing achievements of the riders in 'the tour' over the last couple of weeks only to find that all is not it seems and cheating in one way or another is rife!


The main thing about this that really gets my back up is that the few individuals that can't help but cheat are tainting the awesome achievements of so many others. Am I really so naive to hope that people will one day think about the consequences of their actions on others!?!?!?

Exciting clothing development!

Did you know that you can buy Mosquito proof trousers?! Well you can and I just have, for my trip to Namibia of course.
They must be the most technical item of clothing I own. Each leg can be one of three lengths, which has to lead to some trend setting options of varied right and left combos, as well as being fast drying, rip resistant, ultra light weight etc etc

Not bad

Well I expected more singing but there wheels on the bus did go round anround despite everyone elses reserved approach to work travel and I'm pleased to say we arrived on time and it was all quite painless. Not as good a cycling but not bad I must admit.

Travel experiment

Due to a complex series of events my bike is still at work this morning and so I'm getting the bus to work! All is going very well so far, the bus arrived on time and so far we haven't even had any traffic!
All very exciting ;-)

Better planning needed...

... somehow I managed to schedule my final double injections for Raleigh for this morning and a trip to the dentist for a filling for this afternoon!

I wouldn't recommend it :-(

We're back...

... at home after a fantastically relaxing week in France.

More on that to follow (once I've downloaded the pictures) but for now I just felt I had to confess how nice it is being back 'online'.

I almost can't believe I'm saying it but it's true, my life appears to now be completely centered around being electronically connected and even though I didn't really miss my laptop, wi-fi, 3g connection and instant email, it is strangely comforting to have them all back!?!?

Anyway, I must dig out the photos of the tree surgeon and get them online asap ;-)
